PUMP SERIES ‘CP’, VC NO – CP005
These Chemical & process pump series ‘CP’ have been developed according to International standards to meet diversified application in the chemical and petrochemical industries, with the aim to offer complete corrosion erosion resistance to aggressive and corrosive liquids, easy installation, operation and maintenance, dependability and interchangeability of parts over the entire range.
These pumps are end suction volute type vertically split casing having a closed or semi open Impeller, with or without auxiliary vanes, heavy duty Ball Bearings, a conventional packed stuffing box with Mechanical Seal, or provided with an adopter type arrangement bolted to the casing to permit changing from a Mechanical Seal to Packing or vice-versa in necessary.
A special feature of this design is that complete rotating elements can be promptly withdrawn for inspection or maintenance without disturbing the suction and delivery pipe line. With a spacer type coupling even the prime mover need not be remove prom position. For temperature up to 150 C the pump casing is foot mounted for higher temperatures the casing is provided with centre line support.
